Worlds Laziest Trifle
Ingredients
- Store bought swiss roll cake
- 2x packs of strawberry jelly
- 300ml thickened cream
- Enough thick cuatard to form a layer in your trifle vessel
- Strawberries
Preparation
- Cut the swiss roll in to slices and pack them around the bottom of the bowl to form a base. You want the cake to ride up the sides a little.
- Make the jelly to packet specifications and pour over the cake making sure everything is covered.
- Fridge overnight.
- Pour custard into bowl to form a layer on top of the jelly.
- Whip cream with a mixer and some sugar to taste and top custard with cream.
- Top cream with sliced strawberries or anything else that tickles your fancy.
